IFC, which attended the Show for the first time last year, says it rebooked its stand space at the earliest opportunity for this year’s event because of the success it enjoyed last time around.
This year the group will focus on a three-cornered approach that promotes its three main operating companies – BBS Fleet Logistics, Vertivia and IFC itself.
Bedford-based BBS, which provides storage, logistical and refurbishment services to leasing companies and large national fleets, has just announced a major investment in its vehicle handling and refurbishment operation, including new state-of-the-art information technology systems and smart repair facilities.
And via a new virtual tour of the new facilities, Show visitors will be able to see in detail the new refurbishment and features.
This includes a new online portal that allows fleet customers to book in or modify vehicle movements, check on the progress of any vehicles going through the facility and re-allocate the vehicles once the work is completed.
BBS specialises in the movement and in-life handling of fleet vehicles, including managing the ‘re-home’ process between vehicle users within companies, and handles well over 6,000 vehicle movements per annum.
Mileage capture specialist Vertivia meanwhile will be promoting its latest 4.0 Mileage Management system that provides company car drivers with accurate, fast and efficient mileage logging and recording.
The latest generation incorporates a series of green, orange and red ‘traffic lights’ so that users can immediately see the status of any outstanding tasks relating to issues such as submitting mileage, driver declarations regarding vehicle condition and line manager authorisations.
At the same time, parent company IFC will be demonstrating the new functionality and features of its online vehicle selector, which provides company car drivers with a more complete service.
The online vehicle selector is policy and grade-specific for each user company, which means that company car drivers can only see the vehicle that they can afford for their given monthly car budget.
At the same time, drivers can view up to three models in a side-by-side comparison, across a range of different features including engine output, CO2 emissions, fuel consumption, whole-life costs, tax levels, specification, trim levels, colour and any additional features.
“We are delighted to be again exhibiting at the Fleet World Fleet Show at Silverstone after a highly successful first visit last year.
“We are very much looking forward to meeting up with many of the Show visitors again, and believe we have new developments across all three of our main operating companies that will be of interest to them,” said managing director, Paul Talbot.
