Imexpart, a specialist in van and truck parts, has appointed Alex Wilde as its new business development manager, further strengthening its sales division.
Wilde will focus on refining the company’s sales strategy and nurturing new business opportunities in the north of England, as well as Scotland.
He has extensive experience in the industry, embarking on a career in the automotive parts sector at the age of 17, progressing from a warehouse operative to a managerial role.
Wilde also brings a global perspective that positions him well to lead the company’s sales development initiatives.
Prior to joining Imexpart, he spent three years in Poland, gaining new cultural and professional insights.
Wilde said: “Joining Imexpart presents a unique opportunity to leverage my industry experience in a new setting. The challenge of developing business with motor factors while transitioning from end-user sales is significant, but I’m looking forward to contributing to the company’s growth and navigating these changes effectively.”
Wilde’s appointment is the latest strategic move for Imexpart following its recent acquisition by South African industrial consumables group Invicta.
Martin Butterworth, managing director at Imexpart, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Alex to the team. His perspective is expected to be a valuable asset in steering the company through our current market shift and future endeavours.”
