The leasing option, which starts from £10 per unit, removes the need to purchase the unit and covers the cost of installation for every vehicle as well as software subscription and airtime. The service is available on two to five-year plans.
Although the package can be applied to any fleet size, it has been designed to appeal to smaller fleets where In-Car Cleverness believes the “real adoption” of telematics is now taking hold.
Commercial director Tim Eaves explained: ‘Historically, smaller enterprises have a nimbleness that allows them to adopt new technologies quicker than their larger rivals.
‘By offering a leasing option, we’re helping them further by supporting a need to manage costs before they start to integrate telematics and show the positive impact it can have on the P&L line.’
Once installed, Eaves says the system is proven to deliver savings of at least 10% by reducing fuel, insurance and maintenance costs as well as ‘significantly improving risk management and duty of care’.
The leasing plan will also include In-Car Cleverness’s new smartphone app due for launch next month.
