Inaugural VAN Fleet World Live sees excellent turnout and Navara UK debut

Taking place today at ArenaMK in Milton Keynes, the event brings a packed agenda for LCV fleet managers, including a static exhibition, interactive fleet seminar programme and an exciting ride and drive event.

Pre-registration is now closed but visitors can still attend the event by going to the registration desk in the main hall to collect their FREE ticket!

Vehicle highlights include the UK debut of the new Navara, which brings an updated exterior and interior, updated chassis and a new engine. It also introduces a new five-year or 160,000km manufacturer warranty.

Other van manufacturers attending include Citroen, Dacia, Fiat, Renault and Vauxhall, with visitors able to road test vehicles around Milton Keynes’ innovative 'grid' system of roads.

Anyone wanting to test drive vehicles will need bring their driving licence and National Insurance card as the organisers will have to ensure that all licences are valid by checking them against the DVLA database.

Meanwhile the seminar programme brings a number of key speakers including Superintendent Paul Keasey, chair of the National Roads Policing Intelligence Forum, who will talk about his desire to build ongoing relationships with the light commercial vehicle sector.

He is joined by Mark Cartwright, head of vans at the Freight Transport Association (FTA), who is discussing the ongoing success of the FTA’s Van Excellence programme and looking at ways in which LCV operators can promote professionalism in the van community.

And Stuart Jackson, chairman of TyreSafe, is to discuss how the organisation is working to remove defective and illegal tyres from the roads.

Finally the static exhibition brings a large number of van specialists, including ARI, who are place a focus on downtime management, and Bri-Stor Systems, which is showcasing its latest racking solutions.
