A combined at-home and on-the-road billing solution that could transform the way businesses manage EV charging reimbursement has launched.
It’s been developed by Equans – formerly known as Engie EV Solutions – in partnership with the Mina EV charging payment solution and removes the hassle of employees having to expense their charging costs.
The partnership brings together charging, payments and invoicing across multiple locations including workplaces, public and at home – creating an integrated, accessible and simplified solution for fleets.
Charge points installed at employees’ homes are linked to the homeowner’s energy supplier and the business is invoiced directly each month for employee’s charge costs, creating a simple, accurate solution.
The service also incorporates on-the-road charging thanks to Equans’ network of 2,000-plus chargers across public and private networks in the UK – it includes access to the GeniePoint network.

Through the partnership, our customers’ employees can charge their vehicle at home, at their workplace or at a GeniePoint public charger and be billed with one single invoice each month.”
The partnership follows a successful trial of Mina’s EV payment solution within Equans’ own fleet earlier this year; it’s now being rolled out across the Equans fleet to support its goal of transitioning to a net zero fleet by 2028.
