ISS debuts safety and fleet management solution under new FleetClear division

Vehicle safety technology company Innovative Safety Systems (ISS) has created a new compliance and fleet management product to help provide an all-in-one solution for operators.

The new FleetClear solution provides a single standardised system able to manage, safeguard, monitor and track every aspect of operations for fleets of all sizes

Developed by its newly founded FleetClear software division, the solution combines ISS vehicle safety hardware including telematics and camera recording along with fleet management software to create a single standardised system able to manage, safeguard, monitor and track every aspect of operations for fleets of all sizes.

The system integrates with all ISS products and can help ensure that vehicles are safe, compliant and roadworthy, but can also help operators reduce their fuel and maintenance costs by recording, organising and analysing each driver’s behaviour, as well as pinpoint individual vehicle performance so that specific measures can be put in place to reduce costs and tackle compliance.

The FleetClear division, which is located in new premises adjacent to ISS Head Office, is part of ISS’s growth plans following a major investment by Leeds-based YFM Equity Partners last year. It’s headed up by commercial director David Gladding, who brings an extensive fleet background including at Chevin.

Gladding commented: “We use the latest software technologies to deliver real-time operational and safety data, combined with vehicle and driver information gained from multiple products, all on the same platform. The information can be accessed instantly via a single dashboard to help our customers manage their fleets more effectively.

“The amount of vehicle data available is vast and can cause systems to perform inconsistently. FleetClear uses ‘smart algorithms’ to focus on the critical key performance indicators for efficient fleet management and only returns the exact data needed to make informed business decisions.”
