ITT Hub 2021 to follow strict Covid-19 safety guidelines

There’s less than two weeks to go until the doors open to the free Innovation and Technology in Transport ITT Hub event – which will follow strict Covid-19 safety guidelines.

ITT Hub 2021 will follow strict Covid-19 safety guidelines

Taking place on 30 June and 1 July 2021 at Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre, the event is able to go ahead as planned under the latest Covid-19 restrictions announced by the Prime Minister this week.

Kevin Green, marketing & communications director at the event’s strategic partner Logistics UK, explained: “Covid-19 safety is of the utmost importance and consideration for social distancing and sanitation measures have been prioritised in every aspect of the event’s planning; Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre’s team has been rigorous in taking every possible step to protect visitors to the show.”

Mark Griffin CEO, Binswood Media, added: “Unlike some other indoor events, we are able to open under the government guidelines from the current stage, with exhibition spaces both indoors and outside. We have robust plans and procedures in place to welcome our visitors and exhibitors to Farnborough. We cannot wait to open the doors on this eagerly anticipated event.”

The two-day event will combine large-scale exhibition spaces with outdoor testing and experience opportunities. More than 150 manufacturers, including Fiat, Ford and DAF Trucks, as well as key government departments and agencies will showcase services, products, strategies and ideas. Meanwhile, over 30 speakers will present at Logistics UK’s Future Logistics Conference, including Major Tim Peake.

There will be a requirement for face masks to be worn indoors, Track and Trace will be in place via the registration process and temperature checks will operate at entrances. Visitors and exhibitors will also be required to register in advance of the event, print off their badges and present them at the entrance for scanning.
