Showcased just weeks after the international launch of the range, the Daily E6 4×4 (5517W) brings a gross vehicle weight of 5.5 tonnes and mounted with a dropside body plus 225/100 R 16 Michelin off-road tyres.
Purpose-designed for the construction, emergency services, farming, forestry, local authority and utilities sectors, the model can handle gradients of up to 45 degrees and approach angles of 49 degrees, with a wading depth of up to 660mm.
The 180 hp model is compatible with a wide range of specialist bodies and ancillary equipment, and offers multiple PTO choices on the transfer box and gearbox.
The wider new Daily E6 line-up features new 2.3 and 3.0-litre engines offering up 210hp and 470Nm as well as improved fuel efficiency. Extended service intervals and long-lasting components also result in savings of up to 12% on repair and maintenance costs according to the brand, whilst the range also debuts a new ‘Daily Business app’ to ensure the driver is always connected.
At the Tip-Ex show, Iveco is also displaying models from its truck range, together with a CASE 821F wheel loader, manufactured by sister company CASE Construction Equipment – part of CNH Industrial.
