The new role will see Cutts continue to oversee light vehicles but also take on the mantle of the Iveco’s heavy vehicle line-up, including the Eurocargo, X-Way and S-Way.

Cutts joined the company in 2019 as light business line director and has overseen a strong increase in product visibility and light commercial vehicle market share.

Significant chapters in his career include the launch of the all-electric Iveco eDailya, with the vehicle going on to achieve a towing world record.

He has also launched Iveco Daily’s Bodybuilder Programme, which partners the vehicle range with over 28 approved bodybuilders. This has translated into a growing chassis cab market share, both at 3.5- and 7.2-tonne GVW.

Meanwhile, the latest Iveco Daily Driveaway specifications give customers ease of access to ready-bodied vehicles.

Extensive experience in the automotive sector spanning 20 years has seen Cutts work for major brands such as EV charging specialist Pod Point, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and Vauxhall.

Cutts said: “I am thrilled to be working with our heavy product – as well as continue the momentum generated on light vehicles – as Iveco enters an exciting chapter of new models, impressive levels of investment, and a focus on the future. Iveco’s portfolio features some of the most capable vehicles on the market, providing operators with the perfect partner to achieve even the most demanding of missions.”

Vincenzo Nicolo, Iveco UK & Ireland’s business director, continued: “We welcome Mike to his new role after his achievements as light business line director. Now covering the full range, we look forward to his guidance to help our brand continue to thrive in the UK and Ireland.”
