Jaama marks 20th fleet anniversary with new appointments and investment

Jaama is celebrating two decades in the fleet industry this autumn by confirming a series of new appointments and continued investment in its Key2 fleet and asset management platform.

Andrew Holgate, Jaama’s CEO

Created in Tamworth in 2004 from a team of six people, Jaama’s Key2 software now manages over 1.5 million vehicles across a multitude of industries including leasing, rental, corporate and public sector fleets.

More recently, Jaama has expanded into larger offices in Tamworth and now employs over 120 people. The business, acquired by Lexana Capital in July 2023, also lays claim to one of the biggest in-house software development teams in the industry.

The new leadership team has committed to ongoing investment in research and development projects, which have already resulted in a fresh new look and enhanced functionality being made available to Key2 users.

To coincide with its 20th anniversary, Jaama has also announced a series of senior appointments that will focus on supporting customer service as it gears up for future growth.

Rhianna Greaves becomes customer success director, responsible for implementing the company’s customer success strategy. Greaves has experience as a Jaama Key2 customer from her role as IT director for Go Plant Fleet Services, which was acquired by Sweeptech earlier this year.

Meanwhile Michelle Batty has joined as head of marketing to lead Jaama’s multi-channel marketing strategy. Batty spent more than six years as marketing manager of Nexus Vehicle Rental.

Finally, Karen Shaw becomes head of customer support, having spent over a decade in customer-centric roles, both in the commercial vehicle and insurance industries.

Andrew Holgate, Jaama’s CEO, said: “The success of the Jaama business over the past two decades has been down to our exceptional team and we continue to bring talented new people into our business to ensure we deliver an outstanding experience to our customers.”
