Jaama to highlight potential for increased fleet efficiency at CV Show

The show, which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham from 26-28 April, will enable visitors to find out more about Jaama’s Key2 solution and how it has helped clients, such as Skanska, one of the world’s leading project development and construction companies.

Skanska’s expansion through acquisition meant the fleet department led by head of fleet Julie Madoui was operating on two systems functioning in parallel. That was proving to be administratively cumbersome and operationally inefficient.

Operating a UK-wide fleet of some 2,500 vehicles comprising 1,600 company cars, 650 light commercial vehicles and 250 heavy commercial vehicles, Skanska – which is FORS silver accredited company and a member of the FTA Van Excellence scheme – also uses its vehicle management software to manage some plant equipment assets.

“We wanted a system to not only manage our vehicle and equipment assets and hold all information in a single location, but also to interface with our HR system, feed data back to our finance department and link with our workshops and stores,” explained Julie Madoui. “Future proofing the system was key and ensuring that we could add to the software in the future.”

She added: “The management information available is powerful and has enabled us to remove lots of spreadsheets. The ability to link data from different parts of the system enables us to make business critical decisions and save money.”
