Jason Chamberlain appointed new sales director at Rivus

Rivus Fleet Solutions has appointed Jason Chamberlain as its new sales director.

His appointment is seen as a significant step in taking the new brand forwards, less than a year after it was rebranded from BT Fleet following its acquisition by Aurelius Group.

Chamberlain will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the sales, marketing and bid teams, and will contribute to the overall growth strategy.

He brings over 25 years of sales and account management experience to the role – including senior positions within the fleet sector. He previously worked for BT Fleet from 2011 to 2013 and was most recently at ARI Fleet UK, where he was instrumental in their customer retention and new business success.

Chamberlain said: “After meeting with the Rivus leadership team, my decision to join the business was easy. The investment, strategic vision, and clear desire to further build on the success of this business was compelling – and it was simply a challenge I couldn’t resist.

“Rivus is strongly represented by its people, who are both respected and viewed as industry experts in the fleet management sector. This is an opportunity to work with a great group of people – and to do so at an exciting time, with new technologies available and ever-changing needs of a diverse marketplace.”

Michael Scheidler, chief development officer and acting MD, said: “I’m absolutely delighted to welcome Jason to the business. He brings an impressive track record of experience and success and joins at an exciting time for our new brand. His recruitment means we’ll be even better prepared for the new normal once the pandemic is over – and we’re proud that we’ve been able to support the essential services of our customers throughout the crisis. We’ve received some tremendous feedback in the process and this is down to the resilience and dedication of our employees. Jason will embrace this culture and is a great fit for the role.”
