Kent VW Van Centre reports increased business confidence for regional economy

Beadles Volkswagen Van Centre on Princes Road has seen a 28% cent rise in sales of used vans for the first half of 2013 and is expecting further increases in the latter half of 2013 and throughout 2014..

Beadles Group brand manager, Alan Mountford, said: ‘The green shoots are certainly showing in the regional economy and people and businesses in the region are certainly thinking about the future.

‘We’re seeing a significant increase in enquiries by companies, some for orders in 2013, but most for 2014.’

According to Mountford increased business confidence is a key factor as well as the strength of the brand.

He added: ‘The construction industry has previously been a big buyer of commercial vehicles and recently we’ve seen an increase in enquiries and orders from this sector.

‘We have Transporter, Crafter, Caddy and Amarok customers to thank for our success. In addition, low running costs, strong residual values and affordable finance offers continue to make Volkswagen vans a wiser, more desirable investment.’
