Kone Corporation signs up to FMG to optimise fleet incident management

The two-year contract will cover Kone’s fleet of 1400 light commercials vehicles and passenger cars, in a bespoke service bundle which comprises 24/7/365 First Notification of Loss, UK-wide repair management, a suite of legal services and comprehensive risk management services.

Mick Kernick, UK sourcing manager at Kone, said: “We were looking for a new partner who could control the many associated costs relating to fleet incidents and downtime, particularly replacement vehicle costs, loss of use and business disruption. During a very thorough benchmark process, FMG clearly displayed an unparalleled ability to reduce total claims costs whilst delivering a consistently high standard of service for us and our many drivers.”

Harvey Stead, sales director at FMG, added: “Securing this new partnership with Kone enables us to demonstrate our 30 years’ experience in optimising fleet incident management. Through our streamlined processes, expert teams and intelligent use of innovative technology we are able to control all costs, lead times and processes throughout the incident life cycle, and look forward to providing this unrivalled experience for Kone’s fleet.”
