Kwik Fit boosts mobile service with 100+ Sprinter vans

Kwik Fit has expanded its mobile tyre fitting service with the addition of more than 100 Mercedes-Benz Sprinters.

The addition of the 100+ Sprinters will help Kwik Fit meet growing demand for mobile services

The new vans will be added to the firm’s national fleet, meeting the surge in demand for its mobile services from fleet and retail drivers across the UK.

Kwik Fit chose the Sprinter for its reliability and integrated service package, which includes Europe-wide 24/7 breakdown and roadside assistance to maximise uptime.

An initial batch of 15 vans was supplied by Mercedes-Benz dealership Motus Track & Van and deployed this week to service capacity in high-demand areas across the UK.

A further 92 vans from the 107-strong vehicle order are set to be rolled out over the course of this year and more vans could follow as part of an ongoing replacement programme.

Mark Wellings, mobile divisional director at Kwik Fit, said: “Our objective is to provide a premium, professional mobile tyre fitting service that prioritises convenience and flexibility for customers across the UK, but this can only be achieved if we have enough vans on the road.

“This agreement for over 100 new Mercedes-Benz Sprinters will allow us to meet the increasing demand for our services, reducing downtime across our fleet significantly – thanks to the vans’ well-documented reliability as well as the comprehensive support package included.”

Sarah Palfreyman, van sales director at Mercedes-Benz Vans, said: “Kwik Fit’s premium service mirrors values at the core of our own support package, assisting customers 7 days a week to ensure drivers spend as little time as possible waiting to get back on the road.

“For that reason, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter felt like the perfect choice for the team – and we’re delighted that the vehicles are now being rolled out across the nation for Kwik Fit’s valuable customer base.”
