The new issue sees editor Dan Gilkes take to the road in the full electric LDV EV80, prior to its launch across the UK next month. Other new models coming to the market include rear and all-wheel drive versions of Volkswagen’s Crafter van and chassis cab, along with their sister vans, the TGE range from MAN Truck & Bus.

Meanwhile the launch of TGE marks a new chapter for the Volkswagen-owned truck firm and head of van Stuart Beeton talks readers through the company’s plans to attract customers in this hard fought sector.

And we also assess the risks involved in employing seasonal drivers and take a first look at the next generation Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Road tests include the Ford Transit Courier Sport and Peugeot’s Traveller people-carrier, based on the Expert van line.
