After a strong first quarter, average monthly LCV values at BCA continued to climb in April, reaching their highest point since early 2022.

LCV values at BCA reach the highest level in over a year

Average LCV values rose by £348 (3.5%) in April compared to March, to reach £10,325, the first time average values have passed the £10K mark this year and the highest figure recorded since February 2022. The mix of vehicles on offer played into this increase in value with performance against price guides largely stable at 102.4% during April.

Stuart Pearson, BCA COO UK commented “LCV sales at BCA continue to return strong results during 2023, with rising average values and excellent engagement from the large number of professional buyers that support our specialist commercial vehicle sales programme.”

He added “With LCV volumes remaining somewhat constrained following the supply chain issues brought about by the pandemic, stock location is critical to success for used commercial vehicle dealers. BCA’s buyers have access to the greatest volume and widest range of used LCVs in the wholesale market, with online sales staged daily. Our focus remains on ensuring consistent supply and developing our sales programme and online services to support our customers’ needs.”
