Leading van and car parts supplier tackles rising fuel costs with Keyfuels

Euro Car Parts makes in excess of 30,000 daily deliveries with its large mixed fleet of 1,750 vehicles, meaning that fuel represents one of the company’s largest expenditures.

According to the Euro Car Parts, Keyfuels' experience of handling billions of litres of fuel each year for some of the largest fleets in Europe was one of the major reasons for securing the partnership.

Sukhpal Singh,  managing director at Euro Car Parts, commented:  ‘We switched to Keyfuels 18 months ago due to the flexibility of their solutions and tools that help us drill down into our fleet costs, whilst the extensive network ensures that there is always a participating site near by that accepts the Keyfuels card.

‘When making the decision to move to Keyfuels one of the most important aspects of the switch was the ability to reduce our fleet costs without compromising on network availability or quality of service, in order to remain leaders within a competitive field.

‘Keyfuels fuelcards allow us to do this by saving us thousands of pounds per annum – savings that can then be passed onto our customers ensuring they pay the lowest prices for our products.’

Dave Matthews, account manager for Euro Car Parts at Keyfuels, added: ‘Euro Car Parts is the leader in their field and in order to retain that position against the backdrop of a difficult economy, meant they required robust fuelcard and fuel management solutions to keep costs exceptionally low, whilst providing them with the network to suit their needs.

‘As the number one provider of fuel cards and fuel management solutions in the UK, Keyfuels is able to offer this and more and we look forward to helping Euro Car Parts remain one step ahead of the competition throughout 2013.’
