LEVC supports range extender electric van launch with new Dartford centre

LEVC is further expanding its UK network with the opening of a new dealer in Dartford.

The Ascotts Electric Vehicle Centre in Dartford will supply full sales and aftersales support for both the TX taxi and the VN5 range extender electric van

The Ascotts Electric Vehicle Centre will supply full sales and aftersales support for both the TX taxi and the VN5 range extender electric van, which went into production earlier this week.

Ascotts has been an existing main dealer for LEVC since the launch of TX in 2018 at its site in London. The new flagship site in Dartford builds on this and sees the dealer expand its customer base to the wider commercial vehicle market.

Joerg Hofmann, LEVC CEO, commented: “Ascotts has played a key role in the success of our TX electric taxi since its launch in 2018 and I personally appreciate Andy Ascott’s continuing support, for sharing our company vision and investing in our future.

“With the recent launch of our first electric van, VN5, I’m confident his new site will provide an excellent LEVC sales and service experience.”

He added: “Adding Dartford to our dealer network is also another step in our UK growth plan to ensure no customer is further than a 45-minute drive from an authorised LEVC location.”

Further LEVC dealers are due to be announced in the coming weeks; the manufacturer has plans for more than 50 locations in the UK by the end of this year.

It also continues to expand its Europe-wide network. Across Continental Europe, more than 30 sales and service partners will be in place ready for 2021.
