LEVL and Maxus partner to help fleets optimise electric vans

LCV manufacturer Maxus has teamed up with telematics firm LEVL to help fleet customers optimise their electric vehicles.

Fleets will be able to specify all new Maxus eDeliver 3 and eDeliver 9 electric vans to come fitted with the new Intelligence Onboard solution

The tie-up with LEVL, which is an authorised reseller for Geotab, will mean that all new Maxus eDeliver 3 and eDeliver 9 electric vans can be fitted with the new Intelligence Onboard solution.

This provides data-driven insights through the Geotab software platform, including near real-time insights into state of charge, energy used, energy cost, live GPS tracking, charging data and improved range.

The connected data will enable EV fleets to better optimise and monitor their vehicles to ensure they are operating productively.

Mark Barrett, general manager of SAIC Maxus Ireland, said: “Offering Maxus Intelligence Onboard with every Maxus EV provides our customers with access to powerful insights to help improve productivity and safety and that can ultimately help reduce running costs while maximising range.

“Partnering with the world’s leading telematics providers and distributors is yet another way in which we go the extra mile for our customers, taking an innovative and connected approach to the market.  Joining forces with LEVL is good news for our customers as we support them in making the transition to EV, equipping them with the latest technologies that will help them to get the most out of their fleet.”

LEVL’s partnership with Maxus has initially gone live in the UK and Ireland and is planned for expansion across Europe in 2022.
