Lex Autolease broker division delivers 50,000th vehicle

The vehicle – a  Citroën Berlingo L1 van – has been leased to Dorset-based engineering firm Autoclave & Industrial Controls Ltd. The deal was secured through Alternative Route Finance Limited, which currently runs 800 vehicles on behalf of Lex Autolease for small businesses across Southern England.

Steve Cocks, director of Lex Autolease’s Broker Division, said: “Reaching the landmark figure is testament to the rise in vehicle leasing among SMEs over the last 12 months, and the part our introducers have played in that.

“The number of vehicles leased through the Lex Autolease broker division to small businesses during this period has grown by 31%, and continues to grow as more SMEs turn to leasing as a funding choice. This is a significant milestone on our journey to helping more and more SMEs realise the benefits of leasing.

“Brokers are an important channel for us to access small businesses across the UK, and provide a valuable service, particularly in assisting those SMEs that need help in navigating the market.”
