Logistics firms partner to provide carbon-neutral deliveries across London

Sustainable same-day delivery service Bodo has partnered with all-electric courier Packfleet to provide tech-led carbon-neutral deliveries for leading London-based brands.

The deal will see Packfleet facilitate all the warehouse operator’s next-day deliveries within the M25, using its all-electric vans. Its fleet includes the Maxus eDeliver 9 and eDeliver 3 plus the Peugeot e-Expert, all branded with the Packfleet aquamarine livery.

The partnership provides a more environmentally responsible approach to delivery services – at a time when the capital is facing unprecedented levels of air pollution.

The collaboration also delivers levels of reliability said to be leading. Since the firms partnered in May 2023, almost 98% of parcels have been delivered first-time and not a single parcel has been damaged in transit – cutting both the volume of resource-intensive redeliveries and waste.

Bodo has a portfolio of more than 50 brands, including Suri, Coat, Trip CBD, HeyHarper, PeachyDen and FreeSoul, all able to make use of fast, flexible and eco-friendly delivery options.

The move builds on both companies’ B Corp certification, which demonstrates their high social and environmental performance, and showcases their vision to revolutionise the logistics industry through technology and infrastructure.

Jack Green, co-founder at Bodo, said: “Partnering with Packfleet, a market-leading sustainable courier, furthers our progress in decarbonising the eCommerce supply chain. Packfleet is helping us disband this idea that speed and convenience should come at an environmental cost.”

Tristan Thomas, co-founder at Packfleet, added: “We’re thrilled to join forces with Bodo in our shared mission to provide sustainable delivery solutions. With our 100% electric fleet, combined with Bodo’s eco-friendly warehouses and packaging, we’re providing a carbon-neutral end-to-end delivery experience to some of London’s most exciting brands.”
