Logistics UK Virtual Transport Manager returns in November

Logistics UK is once again running a virtual version of its Transport Manager event, catering for those unable to attend the conference series in person.

A virtual version of Transport Manager will take place on Friday 29 November 2024

The Transport Manager programme for 2024 gets under way on 18 September in Yeovil, with 1,500 delegates already booked across the event schedule and three of the venues full.

A virtual version of Transport Manager will take place on Friday 29 November 2024, enabling transport managers across the country to take advantage of the information and guidance, even if they are unable to attend in person.

The virtual one-day conference will follow the same format as the in-person events and will provide the same information and guidance on legislation.

Kevin Green, Logistics UK’s director of policy, said: “We appreciate some people are unable to attend in person for one reason or another. However, it is still important for transport managers to ensure they keep up to date with the latest regulations and compliance information, so as with the in-person events, Virtual Transport Manager 2024 will provide all the briefing information they need.”

Transport Manager is a recognised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) event, and attendees will receive a certificate of their attendance, whether that’s in-person or virtually.

Britain’s Traffic Commissioners will be running sessions across the whole Transport Manager series, both virtual and live.

Other highlights will include the Transport Manager calendar, a compliance update, GSR and ADAS systems, the legal responsibilities of a transport manager, revision of the Transport Manager CPC syllabus, transport managers in a connected and autonomous world, driver focus: finding and keeping the best, and a session by the Metropolitan Police on dealing with fatal incidents and collision investigation.

Transport Manager 2024 is sponsored by Brigade Electronics and also supported by bronze sponsors BP, R2C, Weightmans, WTW and various regional exhibitors.
