MAC Tools puts Isuzus to use as ‘toolbox trucks’

The firm sells World Class Toolboxes and related products to professional automotive workshops through its national franchise network, and already has one Isuzu demonstration vehicle operating in the North of England.

The second Isuzu is now being deployed covering franchisees in the south of England, with both trucks having purpose designed spacious bodies that allow franchise salesmen to present a much wider range of tool supplies than would be possible on the traditionally smaller vans operated by franchisees.

Both of the Isuzu Forward N75.190 4 x2 rigids have been specified with the popular Easyshift automatic transmission as standard. The latest addition features a distinctive new red and black livery, with contrasting images on both sides, and the box body was commissioned by V4Vans, who also were responsible for kitting out the interiors with stylish product displays.

Mark Stenning from MAC Tools said the trucks are bring a number of benefits: “By having these extra-large bodied Isuzus this allows us to drive more sales through our franchisees as we can provide them with a far greater support package showing a fuller range of available products to their customers.”

As a result of the success of the first two Isuzus, MAC Tools will be looking to add a further third demonstration Isuzu 7.5-tonner in due course.
