Magenta, an integration partner of TomTom Telematics, will be present at the Field Service Demo Zone, demonstrating how dynamically optimised work schedules from the Maxoptra Service web-based dynamic planning solution can be sent directly to the PRO 8275 device. Using the Maxoptra App, mobile technicians can then navigate to their jobs, report job status updates and capture signatures.
Commenting on the launch, Giles Margerison, TomTom Telematics sales director, said, ‘Maxoptra is a great example of an App Center partners using the TomTom .connect API technology to create industry specific solutions that deliver even more value to mobile workforce customers.’
Designed for businesses with mobile workforces, the integration of the app with the TomTom device extends the functionality of the Maxoptra web-based for mobile workforce technicians.
Magenta will also be previewing their MyMaxoptra App, a standalone entry level App, which will be pre-installed on the TomTom PRO 8275 allowing field-based staff to re-sequence a list of random jobs received from TomTom WEBFLEET into the best order to minimise costs and maximise customer service.
‘Service providers can differentiate themselves in the market by providing an end-to-end experience to their customers by fulfilling orders within a narrow time window and monitoring progress towards fulfilment – all on the same device and in real time,’ added Stuart Brunger, head of business development for Magenta Technology.
