Main Line Timber branches out with help of new Isuzu Grafter

Main Line Timber has added a new 3.5-tonne Isuzu N35.125 Grafter to its seven-strong fleet to provide extra support for its recently opened Warwick site.

Delivered by local dealer RH Commercial Vehicles, the Grafter is mounted with a dropside body from PD Stevens and Sons to expedite the loading and unloading of a wide range of timber products.

Founded in 1991, Main Line Timber has been operating Isuzu vehicles since day one, with its latest addition joining a 7.5-tonne rigid and similar 3.5-tonne Grafters.

Emily Gascoigne, head of sales and marketing for Main Line Timber, said: “We continue to come back to Isuzu as they’re reliable, durable and versatile. We love the Grafter as any of our staff can drive them, they have a great payload and deliveries in tight and inaccessible spots are made safer and more efficient.”

The business has been working closely with Midlands-based RH Commercial Vehicles since 2021, a year after Isuzu Truck added its first RHCV dealership. Today, the truck dealer represents the Japanese manufacturer from four of its sites.

“We have always received excellent support from Isuzu, but we had to travel a fair distance to our nearest dealer. It was fantastic when RH Commercial came on board, as it meant we had someone locally we could turn to. Their team are always very responsive and have taken the time to understand our business, ensuring we get what we need, when we need it,” added Gascoigne.

As with all new Isuzu vehicles, Main Line Timber’s latest Grafter comes with the manufacturer’s three-year unlimited mileage warranty, including 24/7 roadside assistance, access to Isuzu Truck UK’s dealer network and support from its dedicated Customer Care team.

The new 3.5-tonner will deliver timber products to customers within a 30-mile radius of the company’s Warwick site and will be on the road Monday to Friday, completing two to three delivery routes per day. It’s expected to stay in operation for up to seven years.
