Manheim showcasing latest remarketing technology at VAN Fleet World Live

In the last 12 months alone, Manheim has launched six new online sales channels and buyers have embraced these fully; securing prime stock in the channel most convenient to them and their needs.

Showcasing one of these six new online remarketing channels, the ground-breaking Mobile Auction Unit, Manheim has already scooped the prestigious ‘Innovation in Remarketing’ award at the Fleet World Honours held in May. The Mobile Auction Unit itself has recently made commercial vehicle history, delivering the first ‘Pop Up’ auction event for both physical and online CV buyers at Hitachi Capital Commercial Vehicles’ HQ in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. It was a sell-out success with over 150 buyers engaged for a selection of 60 prime vans.

At VAN Fleet World Live, which takes place on 23 October 2015 at ArenaMK in Milton Keynes, Manheim will be showcasing its work.

James Davis, Director Of Commercial Vehicles for Manheim, said: “We’re excited to be attending VAN Fleet World Live event, we’re looking forward to hearing how the van sector is embracing new technologies. So far this year, 30% of all vans sold by Manheim across the UK have been bought by buyers bidding online, so we recognise the power of applying innovative technology to deliver the best possible service to our customers.

“Our UK auction network is buoyant, our in-lane and online commercial vehicle auctions are full of plenty of buyers who are all hungry for the right stock.”

At VAN Fleet World Live, visitors will also be able to see the latest commercial vehicle solutions from a large number of other fleet service providers, as well as take part in the interactive fleet seminar programme and the exciting ride and drive event.
