Marston and Zenith sign mixed fleet deal

Under the deal, Zenith is providing contract hire with full vehicle maintenance and accident management for 120 vehicles, including standard vans, specialist vehicles and cars.

In addition, Marston has 200 short-term hire vehicles, managed by Zenith on a day-to-day basis, with some vehicles transferring over to contract hire on expiry of existing contracts.

As part of the implementation, Zenith conducted a whole-life cost analysis to establish the most cost efficient scheme structure.

John Crichton, chief financial officer at Marston, commented: ‘Our vehicle scheme has already improved by using Zenith; it has seen a consolidation of all of our reporting onto Zenith’s Pulse reporting platform. The programme provides a one-stop-shop solution, meeting all of our van and car requirements. It has provided both our back-office staff and drivers with an enhanced service delivery, along with added value through operational efficiencies and we expect to benefit from this further going forward.’
