It’s supporting Transport for London’s ULEZ scrappage scheme with a number of money-off discounts on its electric vehicle line-up, providing London residents with bigger savings on zero-emission vehicles to enable them to forgo daily ULEZ fees.

Under the TfL scheme, eligible residents, charities and businesses can scrap their non-compliant vehicle and receive a grant payment from TfL, ranging from £2,000 for scrapping non-compliant cars through to £9,500 to scrap a van and replace with an eLCV and £11,500 to scrap and replace a minibus.

In support of the TfL scheme, Maxus is offering money-off discounts on its range of electric vehicles. Customers can save an additional £15,000 on the eDeliver 9 panel van and minibus and an extra £14,000 on the eDeliver 9 chassis variant. For the T90 EV pickup, Maxus is giving an additional £6,000 discount, plus an extra £1,000 for the eDeliver 3 panel van and chassis variant and the Mifa 9 electric MPV. The offers apply to drivers in the ULEZ zones and are exclusive to those who meet the eligibility criterial for the ULEZ Scrappage Scheme.

Maxus is also offering customers a free Indra or Easee charge point charger with every vehicle purchase.

Mark Barrett, managing director at Harris Maxus, said: “The TfL scheme helps residents, small businesses and charities in the expanded ULEZ by providing vehicle scrappage grants of up to £11,500. With the addition of our own conquest supports and free charger offer, plus the government-funded OLEV grant, this represents a fantastic opportunity for business owners to make great savings on a new zero-emission Maxus vehicle for their business. This offer is for a limited time, so I encourage those in the ULEZ to check their eligibility using TfL’s vehicle checker and contact their local Maxus dealer today.”
