Maxus expands dealer network with new Doncaster site

Maxus is continuing to expand its UK dealer network with a new dedicated site at Sandtoft in Doncaster.

The new dealership will place a big focus on the latest Maxus e-LCVs, the eDeliver 3 and the eDeliver 9 (pictured)

Particularly focused on the Maxus electric vehicle line-up, the five-acre Northside Maxus site will provide a full sales and aftersales service for both large fleet accounts as well as normal retail sales.

It’s being run by the Anderson Group, which also operates Northside Truck and Van, and joins the existing Maxus service locations at Leeds and Bradford.

Mark Barrett, general manager of Harris Maxus, said: “The Anderson Group is one of the most respected commercial dealer groups in the UK, and Northside Maxus is a most welcome addition to the Maxus dealer network. It is an exciting partnership for us as Northside Maxus is one of the best when it comes to dealing and processing large fleet accounts.”

Last year saw Maxus launch three new models, starting with the Deliver 9 revealed in summer 2020 and followed by two electric LCVs: the eDeliver 3 plus the eDeliver 9 announced in December 2020.

Barrett added: “We believe Northside Maxus is the perfect partner for our brand and for our customers. There will be a big focus on our latest new platform e-LCVs, the eDeliver 3 and the eDeliver 9, and we are looking forward to seeing more Maxus vans on the road. Despite its challenges, 2020 represented a new era for us in which we can offer our customers even more variety in terms of commercial vehicles.”

The site is the latest addition to the Maxus network, which has also recently expanded into Manchester in partnership with Motus Commercials and is also gaining 10 new locations under a tie-up with the Brindley Group.
