The new Mercedes-Benz X-Class is now available to order with a V6 350d diesel, priced from £38,350 excl. VAT.
Due to start first deliveries in November, the 3.0-litre diesel engine brings 255bhp and a maximum torque of 550Nm, and joins the existing 220d and 250d diesels. All come with 4Matic permanent all-wheel-drive, Dynamic Select and a seven-speed auto as well as double cab body style.
The arrival of the V6 engine brings a change to the trim line-up, with the four-cylinder diesels now only available in the Pure and Progressive trims while the Power model will be exclusively available for the 350d. The top-level trim brings features including Audio 20 CD infotainment system with seven-inch high definition screen, Bluetooth, DAB digital radio and pre-installation for Garmin Map Pilot. Also included are the brand’s Me Connect standard services, featuring call automatic emergency response, breakdown, and maintenance management, and Keyless Go entry and starting.
Other equipment includes 18-inch alloys, LED tail lights, electrically folding exterior mirrors plus leather interior details and eight-way electrically adjustable and heated driver and front passenger seats.
Driver assistance features include Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Brake Assist autonomous emergency braking, Traffic Sign Assist, Hill-Start Assist, Downhill Speed Regulation.
