Mitsubishi introduces five-year warranty across range

The new warranty is effective from 1st January 2015 on all new cars and commercial vehicles and comes in addition to the MAP (Mitsubishi Assistance Package) three-year, pan European roadside assistance package.

Mitsubishi added that the new warranty is expected to boost sales further following its 74.4% rise in sales in 2014 against a UK market up 9.4%.

Lance Bradley, managing director of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, said: ‘The move to a 5-year warranty is a reflection of Mitsubishi’s confidence in the unrivalled quality and reliability of our product. It is especially significant when you consider the hard working nature of some of our vehicles such as Shogun, and leading edge ultra-low emission technologies in the Outlander plug-in hybrid electric vehicle.’
