Mountjoy boosts fleet with 13 Citroën Dispatch vans for University contract

The vehicles will be used by the plumbers, carpenters and ground workers contracted to maintain the University’s 6,500 rooms, dormitories, flats, communal areas and campuses. Finished in Imperial Blue the new Dispatch vans will carry Mountjoy’s livery and join its 200+ van fleet.

Supplied by Citroën dealer, Richmond Motor Group, Portsmouth, Mountjoy is operating its new Dispatch vans on Alphabet UK,42 month, with maintenance, contract hire agreements. The Dispatch HDi 125 six-speed manual van offers fuel consumption of 44.1 mpg, coupled with CO2 emmissions of 168 g/km. The 1,188 kg payload and 6m3 load compartment provide ample capacity to carry a wide range of tools and materials. 

Mountjoy's Dispatch Enterprises offer additional features including air conditioning, electrically adjustable/heated/folding mirrors, rear parking sensors, Connecting Box (Bluetooth & USB socket) and a full steel bulkhead. All Dispatch vans also have twin, side load doors, Teletrac Smartnav satellite navigation, Trackstar stolen vehicle tracking and a dual passenger seat.

“We have again specified Citroën LCVs as long experience has shown they are well equipped to handle our intensive maintenance service operations,” commented David Vine, Mountjoy’s fleet manager. “Our operating experience of Citroën LCVs has shown that they are good vans, with low emissions, superb fuel economy and attractive whole-life costs.”
