Movezero eMaaS tech platform to help fleets shift to EVs

A new integrated eMaaS platform that can help fleets and drivers make the shift towards greener, more sustainable travel is launching from FOD Mobility Group.

The Movezero eMaaS technology platform combines the booking, payment and aggregation of EV charging along with a wide range of all-electric transport modes and services into a single eMaaS platform

Dubbed Movezero eMaaS technology platform, it combines the booking, payment and aggregation of EV charging along with a wide range of all-electric transport modes and services into a single eMaaS platform.

It includes Zerohire offers short-term EV hire for periods of 1 to 27 days, powered by the company’s Fleetondemand platform, along with the Zeroplus EV flexi lease service for periods of 28 days or more with no upfront costs or long-term contracts.

Movezero also simplifies electric vehicle charging by combining the aggregation of public charging with at-home charging into a single audited solution with consolidate billing and full driver reimbursement. This reduces the need to carry multiple membership cards and charge point tokens, while drivers can also view the location and availability of nearby charge points in real-time.

Future developments include the addition of EVs by the hour through car club integrations nationwide. Multiple micromobility services will also be fully integrated, encompassing shared bikes, e-bikes and e-scooters for first-mile and last-mile journeys – again without the need for multiple apps.

It’s the latest development from the FOD Mobility Group, formed after the acquisition of vehicle hire firm FleetEurope by mobility technology provider Fleetondemand in 2019 and providing a portfolio of vehicle hire and mobility solutions for UK and international businesses. Movezero draws on the group’s Mobilleo and Fleetondemand technology APIs, which consolidate hundreds of integrated suppliers into a single B2B solution.

Justin Whitston, CEO and founder at FOD Mobility Group, commented: “The Movezero eMaaS platform is a unique, all-encompassing solution for organisations looking to supercharge their shift towards electric vehicle mobility. The full transition to EVs will be one of the most important actions to achieve the UK’s Net Zero target by 2030. Movezero is ideal for organisations looking to start their journey to fleet electrification or reduce their carbon footprint in relation to business travel.”

Movezero is currently in development in partnership with fleets and will be available on iOS, Android and desktop devices.
