The company, which has now worked with Northgate for over 12 years, offers repair and replacement services including its “same day – next day” offering. It also operates a “repair first” policy – only replacing windscreens when the damage is too severe to be repaired, saving its customers replacement costs.
The new contract with Northgate will continue to focus on providing efficient windscreen repair and replacement services, through National Windscreens’ extensive network of 108 fitting centres and 800 plus mobile technicians located across the UK.
It will also provide a selective on-site fleet inspection programme to ensure Northgate vehicles are fit-for-purpose by identifying any glazing problems that have the potential to damage the windscreen.
Commenting in the renewal of the partnership, Graham Furneaux-Porter, National Windscreens’ fleet sales manager, said: ‘I am delighted that National Windscreens has secured the new Northgate contract, and believe it to be an excellent testament to our ability to offer a superior windscreen repair and replacement service for fleet providers.
‘National Windscreens has over 30 years’ experience in the fleet sector – this experience enables us to clearly understand the pressures and issues felt by fleet providers. We aim to save all of our customers’ time and costs through services such as onsite fleet inspections that allow us to assess the safety of many fleet vehicles over the course of a day.’
