National Windscreens to showcase fleet services at Commercial Vehicle Show

The independently owned company says that it has contracts with a number of leading companies covering the whole range of LCV, HGVs and fleet rental businesses, which means that it holds significant stocks of the most popular windscreens to ensure it consistently meets its same day / next day job completion target.

It’s also committed to a local presence and local stock holding, as regional sales and operations manager, Simon Barron explained: “Whilst the current market trend is to reduce the number of branches and provide a solely mobile service, National Windscreens is firmly committed to its fitting centre network as they play a vital role in helping to deliver the fastest service possible to all of our customers.”

The company also claims to operate the largest UK fitting centre network in its field – with 108 centres from Redruth in Cornwall, to Elgin in Scotland supported by 800 highly skilled mobile glazing technicians. This extensive geographical spread ensures that on average a UK motorist is never more than 11 miles or 20 minutes away from a National Windscreens technician.

Barron continued: “We understand that the number one priority for all fleet operators is keeping vehicles on the road as any off road time costs money. Our fleet cover service is designed to make life as simple as possible for managers of all types of vehicle fleet.”
