Near-normal service levels at all 134 DAF Dealer locations

DAF has reported ‘near-normal’ service levels at all 134 DAF Dealer locations as the network puts in an “epic response” to ensuring operators can stay on the road.

DAF says service levels are near-normal at all 134 DAF Dealer locations

Reports from a number of DAF Dealers describe a large-scale effort on the frontline of operations, with workshop and DAFaid Technicians repeatedly going the extra mile for truck operators.

This includes Evans Halshaw DAF in Sheffield, which was praised by BOC Group for completing essential repairs in double-quick time, helping its vehicles to make critical oxygen deliveries to hospitals.

“In this challenging period, it’s paramount to keep supply chains operational,” said Evans Halshaw national franchise director, Lester Freakley. I’m extremely proud of how the truck teams across all our locations continue to deliver first-class customer service in unprecedented circumstances.”

DAF Trucks managing director, Laurence Drake said the collective effort from DAF Technicians on the frontline of operations had been awe-inspiring.

“The whole network has pulled together for its customers,” he added, “and my management team owes a debt of gratitude for the heroic resolve shown by all aspects of the business.”
