Network Rail signs up to Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles

The current agreement is for 312 vehicles – 124 Amarok 140PS BMT, 168 Transporter 114PS BMT and 20 Transporter Kombi 114PS BMT – which will be used by Network Rail’s engineering team.

Steve Duffy, business support manager for Network Rail, commented: “With over 20,000 miles of track and thousands of rail assets to maintain, the team requires the best products and support to deliver very complex jobs.
