New appointment at RAC Business Services forms part of fleet business growth

Caine brings over 16 years of experience in the fleet sector, having covered a range of roles related to road safety and accident management, including on the operational, sales and account management side.

In his new role he will help integrate the RAC’s expanding business and fleet services into packages that provide the greatest value to clients, focused on both large corporate fleets as well as mid-market and SME.

Caine said: ‘The RAC’s vision of being the Motorist’s Champion has extended well into the fleet solutions side as road safety and risk prevention is increasingly at the heart of these solutions.

‘It is also an interesting time for the market and the RAC is in an ideal place to offer a range of bespoke services and products that benefit customers in their daily lives, as well as their organisation’s overall efficiency and effectiveness.

‘All of these factors together mean I feel I can truly contribute to the aims of the RAC’s Business Services operation and to the businesses we work alongside.’

Jim Monteith, head of accident management, said: ‘Andy brings with him a wealth of expertise and first-hand knowledge of both how the fleet market operates and how it is changing.

‘His insight and passion for the job translates into a strategic and practical approach, which has already made significant business inroads both for our customers and our own operations.’
