New Ctrack app to help enforce driver safety

Ctrack has introduced a driver app that can be used alongside its range of tracking solutions to improve driver behaviour and increase risk awareness.

Ctrack’s Driver Mobi app
Ctrack’s Driver Mobi app can help fleet operators capture and store important vehicle and driver data electronically.

The Driver Mobi solution provides a range of tools including a vehicle checklist to help drivers perform their daily safety inspections and provide fleet managers with online visibility of all completed and missed checks. A report can also be scheduled and run at a chosen time interval to provide an overview of all checks and identify any vehicles that need attention.

The tool also features a Driver Score area – both on an individual and company average basis – and can be used to break down driving performance across harsh acceleration, harsh breaking, harsh cornering, speeding and excess idling with a peer comparison for each.

Driver Mobi also features an historical trips tool, enabling drivers to allocate individual journeys over the past 30 days as business or private mileage, with the option to add any additional comment where necessary. Drivers can also run their own individual business private reports, which can be instantly viewed on screen or emailed.

John Wisdom, European managing director of Ctrack, commented: “Driver Mobi complements our existing range of tracking solutions, providing an effective engagement tool that helps enforce fleet safety policies, improve driver behaviour and simplify vehicle-related administration.”
