New Leaselink module provides full tracking of CV conversions

The Oxford-based online solutions provider has invested in the new functionality as well as a new look and feel for the platform as a growing number of commercial vehicles pass through the system in both the public and private sectors, especially following the recruitment of public sector leasing specialist, Automotive Leasing, to the community of major leasing companies that use Leaselink.

The new third-party module provides leasing companies with total transparency of the progress being made within the conversion process, and shows users exactly where in the system the vehicle is, and how long before it is finished and ready for delivery to the customer. Meanwhile new developments, like gaining type approval, will be added at a later date.

At the same time, the third-party module benefits from a new modern look and feel inspired by the latest consumer systems and intended to help improve the user experience from a visual perspective without detracting from its functional capability.

This new look for Leaselink will be rolled out gradually across the whole platform, with the trademark home page next in line for redevelopment so that, by early next year, much of the core system will have been redesigned, with new capabilities for fleet users a priority throughout the programme.

Robert Pilkington, managing director of the Leaselink International division of Ebbon-Dacs, said: ‘We regularly review the development of Leaselink with our leasing company and dealer users to ensure it meets their demands and this third-party module was one of the first things they requested, as they felt there was a lack of transparency around the conversion process.

‘This is one of the key developments for the new generation, which will have a very new look and feel, inspired by the best consumer systems, while keeping the functional depth of a powerful, administrative tool.’
