New multi-bid solution from Fleet Operations to be showcased at Silverstone Fleet Show

MOVE from Fleet Operations interfaces with any UK leasing company or dealer, automating the multi-supplier procurement process to minimise workload and administration. MOVE is available as an intuitive standalone solution or as part of a modular to fully-outsourced fleet management service.

The launch at next month’s Fleet Show – which takes place at Silverstone on 11 May – follows trials with fleet customers, which generated average savings of £21 per vehicle per month – a total of more than £2.5m for MOVE clients over the last 10 months.

“Savings equate to more than £1,000 per vehicle on a typical four-year lease, meaning a 200-vehicle fleet should realise savings in excess of £200,000,” said Ross Jackson, Fleet Operations’ chief executive.

“Sourcing vehicles through multiple, rather than single, suppliers offers better value but the complexity and extra management time required often puts businesses off. MOVE makes this administration burden history.”

With access to every new car and LCV in the UK, companies can upload their own policies, vehicle selection options, eligibility criteria and rulesets tailored to individual employees.

Employees can select their vehicles, build them to their exact specifications, select optional extras, compare them in a digital showroom and arrange test drives. Benefit-in-Kind, P11D declarations and employee contributions are displayed and calculated automatically.

Once the employee confirms their order, MOVE obtains automatic authorisation from single or multiple authorisers with the employee’s business, before ordering the vehicle with the winning leasing company.

Richard Hipkiss, operations director at Fleet Operations, added: “We’ve been successfully operating a multi-bid solution for many years for our clients.  The evolution of our service and the creation of MOVE gets rid of complexity and, for the first time ever, brings pricing efficiency to organisations both with and without fleet managers.”

Fleet Operations was founded as a fleet consultancy nearly 20 years ago and, during recent years, it has developed into a management business on the back of client demand to see consultancy recommendations executed efficiently to deliver quicker results.

Visitors to the Fleet Show can see MOVE in action and meet representatives from Fleet Operations in Hall 1, Stand 5 on 11 May 2016.
