New network operations manager at Mercedes-Benz UK

In her new role, Ms Palfreyman is responsible for network strategy, business management and the successful implementation of the Van ProCenter Dealer Excellence Programme. She will report directly in to Steve Bridge, managing director, Mercedes-Benz Vans.

Ms Palfreyman joined Mercedes-Benz Vans in January 2013 as a network district manager, bringing with her a wealth of experience from her time with Porsche GB, where she was responsible for the day-to-day support of 10 of the 35 Official Porsche Centres.

Prior to joining Porsche she was employed as an area sales manager for Audi UK, in Milton Keynes, managing 16 of their Audi Centres located in the North West.

Commenting on her new position, Ms Palfreyman said: “We have a solid Commercial Vehicle Dealer Network, offering 110 service points across the length and breadth of the UK, with Workshops open up to 100 hours a week on average and a third of sites open 24-hours a day throughout the working week."

“This also means there is a big task in looking after the operations of the Network, as well as overseeing the continuation in rollout of the VanPro Dealer excellence programme. We currently have seven Dealer Market Areas accredited, representing 35 locations, and over 70% of the Network engaged with the programme. I look forward to utilising my experience to ensure our Dealer Network offers an unrivalled service to our customers.”
