New Relay spearheads Citroën’s £2m conversion drive

To significantly reduce the delivery times of these most popular conversions, Citroën is investing £2,371,700 in an additional 100 ready-bodied New Relay Specialist Models. These models will join new LCV stock held across the unique Citroën Business Centre network.

The additional New Relay Specialist available from 1 September will include:

40 x New Relay 35 L2 HDi 130 6-speed manual Tipmaster-bodied Tippers – £23,735 + VAT & delivery

30 x New Relay 35 L3 HDi 130 6-speed manual Ingimex-bodied Dropside trucks – £22,440 + VAT & delivery

30 x New Relay 35 L3 HDi 130 6-speed manual Buckstone-bodied Luton vans – £24,970 + VAT & delivery

These ready-bodied New Relay Specialist Models are covered by Citroën’s two year/unlimited mileage or three year/100,000 mile factory warranty for both the chassis and the conversion bodywork. New Relay Specialist Models can also be acquired on Citroën Contract Motoring (CCM) contract hire terms.

Commenting on the new range, Jeremy Smith, Citroën’s head of commercial vehicles & business sector operations, said: ‘To maintain the momentum of the successful New Relay launch, we are now putting increased emphasis on New Relay Specialist Models and Ready to Run conversions, which are increasingly in demand from our growing SME customer base.  Whether it’s a New Relay Specialist Model or a Ready to Run conversion, the same high quality converters are used in every case to provide the most efficient and productive ready-bodied vehicle to suit a wide variety of transport operations.’
