New talking reversing alarm system offers bespoke application

The vehicle safety company says that there has been a sharp rise in the popularity of talking alarms due to the fact that they can highlight various different dangers.

Vision Techniques’ Customisable Reversing Alarm can reproduce speech with perfect clarity. The reversing alarm is automatically engaged when you put your vehicle into reverse, sounding a warning alarm. It can also be used to warn of dangers such as handbrakes not being applied, moving decks on trailers or arms raised on skip loading vehicles, and can even advertise corporate names.

The company also offers a range of other safety solutions to reduce the risk of collision and maximise fleets’ efficiency, including on-board digital video recorders for evidence and surveillance.
