New tracking option added to Lightfoot system

Launched in 2012, Lightfoot was developed to meet the needs of busy fleet managers by improving driver behaviour at source through real-time visual and audible training, as well as simple, weekly reports containing at-a-glance insights into fleet performance and confirmation of sustained fuel and CO2 savings.

The new tracking facility, which will give fleet managers the extra option of accessing up-to-the-minute data on vehicle location and movement, is due to be launched at Drive It @ Bruntingthorpe, 10-12 July 2014, where interested customers will be able to test drive a vehicle fitted with Lightfoot and experience the benefits for themselves.

‘We have been delighted with Lightfoot’s success since its launch two years ago, and it’s great to see it bringing tangible gains to some of the UK’s largest and most innovative fleets,’ explained Mark Roberts, managing director, Ashwoods Lightfoot Ltd.

‘Feedback from the fleet managers we are already working with have reported significant results with minimal management intervention, and excellent driver buy-in due to the positive and non-invasive way Lightfoot® supports change and provides feedback. We’re looking forward to showcasing Lightfoot at Drive It @ Bruntingthorpe, and with the launch of the new tracking feature, we’re pleased to be making Lightfoot even more attractive to our customers.’
