New tyre service for ‘extraordinary fleets’ launches with free audit offer

A new tyre service has launched for ‘extraordinary fleets’, enabling them to benefit from  industry knowledge and a free tyre audit offer.

Dubbed Micheldever Fleet Solutions (MFS), the service is being piloted first in Bristol and South Wales, ahead of a UK-wide roll-out later in the year

The new service has been developed by leading tyre wholesaler Micheldever Tyre Services and enables operators to draw on its wealth of industry knowledge and product expertise.

The MFS service will help support the performance and commercial needs of the most demanding vehicle fleets, including those from emergency services, HM Coastguard and fleets with vehicles that have challenging tyre fitment requirements.

The MFS offer will include the new ‘Extraordinary Fleet Calculator’, a simple five-question multiple choice diagnostic that helps to inform fleet managers how extraordinary their fleet is based on its tyre fitting requirements.

An exclusive ‘Fleet Manager’s Essential Guide to Tyre Health and Safety’ is also available as a downloadable PDF on the new MFS website, which will also provide advice, expertise and insight from the MFS team and case studies of ’Extraordinary Fleets’ that MFS is currently working with team.

For the launch, an ‘extraordinary’ incentive is being offered to the first five fleets in the Bristol and South Wales region to sign up. Those five fleets will qualify for a free fleet tyre audit and risk assessment valued at £8,000.

And a free fleet tyre audit is available for the first five fleets in the Bristol and South Wales region to sign up to the new service. The assessment will be completed by MFS’s team of experts at each respective businesses’ main fleet location, and is worth up to £8,000.

Martin Towers, MFS sales director, said: “At MFS, we have specialists who can assess a fleet’s requirements and tailor the correct tyre fitment to suit, regardless of how extraordinary a fleet is or the job its tasked with carrying out.

“We can assess and provide tyre solutions that enable a fleet to operate in all types of weather conditions, all kinds of terrain and all year round, delivering exceptional performance including mileage.”

Through Micheldever Tyre Services’ supplier agreements, MFS can offer a comprehensive range of tyres suited to all types of terrain, including brands such as General Tire, Falken and BF Goodrich.

It can also take care of tyre disposals and tyre recycling/redeployment solutions.
