Inchcape Volkswagen Commercial has opened a new Manchester-based authorised repairer workshop, said to be the largest in the UK.
The 21,000-square foot purpose-built facility in Trafford Park features 16 service ramps, an MOT facility and a 22-strong team.
The new site will operate alongside Inchcape’s nearby sister site, which has been running for 15 years, and will enable the original location to focus on sales; all engineers have now been deployed at the new workshop.
Facilities include servicing, MOT, express fit and roadside assistance. The centre will have a dedicated team of experienced service advisors, technicians and parts advisors as well as a head of business and aftersales manager.
The new site will also offer extended operational hours until 22:00 three days per week, in line with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles‘ Working With You promise.

The new workshop brings the number of dedicated Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle authorised repairers to a total of 27. VW also operates a further 72 full Van Centres which provide both sales and service facilities.
