Nexus Vehicle Rental has appointed Peter Ennis as its new chief technology officer, tasked with developing the product offering into adjacent markets.
He joins Nexus from delivery management platform Sorted where he was CTO and has a proven tech and engineering services background with extensive experience, starting out with roles at the BBC and the Co-operative Banking group and moving up to take on positions including director of engineering at The Hut Group and Amazon, in which he led several major projects across the business.
In his new role, Ennis will drive critical initiatives focused on enhancing data security through regular audits and upgrading data architecture.
He will also strategically ensure scalability for Nexus technology solutions, fostering a future-proof landscape aligned with long-term objectives.
