Mark Cartwright, head of vans and light commercial vehicles at the Freight Transport Association, which administers the Van Excellence scheme, commented: “With the van industry growing so fast, it is important to recognise and reward the operators leading the way in excellence and setting a high standard for others to follow.

“Whether operating a large fleet or a single vehicle, all van operators committed to quality and excellence should enter these awards or nominate an esteemed peer. It’s time van operators are acknowledged for the essential, and highly versatile, role they play to the UK economy.”
